After graduating from Abilene High School, Glenn went on to join the Army, during which time he also earned his Master's degree at the University of Nebraska. His honorable service to his country and his bravery during the two and a half tours he served in the Vietnam War earned him 4 bronze stars and many other metals.
Glenn is survived by his son, his daughter and her husband Paul, three grandchildren, two sisters, five brothers and many, many nieces and nephews.
