Funeral Rites to Be on Saturday Morning
Mrs. Tessa O. Wilson, 68, wife of Lewis Wilson, died at her home at 925 Washington, N.W. in Mason City, Iowa, on Thursday morning (Nov. 10, 1949) after an illness of six months. She was engaged in the bakery business with her husband, in the Wilson bakery, for 40 years. They retired from business Aug. 1, 1949. She was born July 5, 1881, at Victor, Iowa, and was married to Lewis Wilson, on Jan. 22, 1905. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband and daughter, Evelyn May, at home. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Patterson-James Chapel at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. R. L. Williams, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
