Mr. Robert Marlin Posey, resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at CrossRidge Community Hospital in Wynne at the age of 75. Robert was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on August 26, 1945, the son of George Marlin and Estelle Irene (White) Posey. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, and worked as an electrician and general contractor for more than 50 years. He and Mrs. Paula Jean Stacy-Posey were united in marriage on November 21, 2005, and the couple was blessed with nearly 14 years together prior to Paula's death in 2019. Robert greatly enjoyed bass fishing, woodworking, tinkering in his shop, and caring for his cats. Mr. Posey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Billy Wayne Posey; and a sister, Lisa Harris. He is survived by four sons, David Posey of Wynne, Jason Posey and wife Carla of Cherry Valley, Jonathan Posey and wife Crystal of Jonesboro, and Jeff Hagler and wife Mary of Cherry Valley; two daughters, Miranda Posey and fiancé Tai Goad of Jonesboro, and Stacy Hagler-Loseke and husband Dustin of Chatham, Illinois; three brothers, Jerry Posey and wife Joy of Forrest City, Ricky Posey of McCrory, and Stanley Posey and wife Vickie of Wynne; a sister, Barbara Posey of Forrest City; 14 grandchildren, Eden Posey, Blake Posey, Lake Benson, Tessa Greenway, Winry Posey, Matthew Posey, Avery Posey, Samantha Hagler, Lauren Hagler, Haley Hagler, Harley Hagler, Nehon Hagler, Lynn Loseke, and Millie Loseke; and a host of other relatives and friends.
