Darrell was born August 22, 1977 in Wichita Falls, Texas; the son of Melvin Allan Armstrong and Julia Stone.
He attended schools in Texas.
Darrell Armstrong was in the United States Army having served as a gunner in Afghanistan.
He married Dusty Crow August 14, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Darrell Armstrong worked at Simplot for the last six years as a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Dusty Armstrong of Rock Springs, Wyoming; father, Melvin Armstrong and wife Tina of Wichita Falls, Texas; mother, Julia Cissell and husband Michael of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sons, Kylen Armstrong of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Dade Stevens of Colorado; one daughter, Kayla Carroll of Colorado; three brothers, Doug Armstrong and wife Ashley of Wichita Falls, Texas; David Schommer and wife Destiny of Wichita Falls, Texas; Kevin Armstrong and wife Chasity of Big Spring, Texas, several aunts, uncles, cousins as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
Cremation will take place; services are pending.
