Nora was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, and crocheting.
Nora is survived by one daughter, Mary Jones of Trenton; three sons, Raymond (Bonnie) Messer of Camden, SC, Lonnie G. (Lois Jean) Gross of Carlisle, and Ronald Gary (Judy) Gross of Germantown; two sisters, Chloe Williams of Wooster and Pauline Neace of Lawrenceburg, IN; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Gross in 1998; a son, Walter Edward Gross; her parents; brother, James Messer; sister, Kathleen Hayes; and two great granddaughters, Kimberly Murray and Debbie Gross.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 1:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
