Obituary: Charles F. Bricker, 74. Funeral services for Charles F. Bricker, 74, of Petoskey, MI., will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at Stone Funeral Home. Capt. James W. Haun of the Salvation Army will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Bricker died Oct. 6, 1983, at Little Traverse Division of Northern Michigan Hospitals. He was born Feb. 4, 1909, in Union City, IN., the son of John and Mary Bricker. He attended Five Mile Creek School in Harbor Springs and in 1934 married the former Ethel Kabelman in Petoskey. Mr. Bricker was employed as a diesel operator for the city of Petoskey for 22 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie2462. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. George (Grace) Baumgartner of Oden, Mrs. Harry (Virginia) Carls of Saratoga, Wyoming, and Donna Burrows of Petoskey; three sons, Charles Jr. of Petoskey, Albert of Petoskey and Allen (Roy) of Petoskey; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William of Petoskey and Gilbert of Alanson; three sisters, Edith Bittow of Ohio, Irene LaLond of Lake City and Gladys Jablonski of Petoskey; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Stone Funeral Home where a Lodge of Sorrows service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
