Elmer E. (Pony) Taylor 67 of 210 S Pleasant, Independence, died Thursday at the Independence Hospital. He was bom in Rosedale district of Kansas City Kansas and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a Mason. Mr Taylor was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Independence. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Marie Taylor of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Gerri Williams, 429 E 70th Terrace; Mrs. Delores S. Grauberger, 3406 N 59th Terrace; and Miss Camille Taylor, New York; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jodie Case, 914 E Frederick, Independence; two brothers, Fred E. Taylor, 2115 W 51st, Mission, and Albert H. Taylor, 16116 E 36th, Independence; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Piercey, 9324 Bradshaw, Lenexa, Mrs. Elizabeth Page, 4418 Adams, Kansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Rose Kester, La Puente, Calif and Miss Coda Taylor, 708 Seminary, Kansas City, Kansas and 13 grandchildren. Services will held at 1 p m Saturday at the Carson Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm tonight at the chapel The family requests no flowers and suggest contributions to the church.
