Henry Milton Jones, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Milton Jones, Sr. and India Maude McCubbin Jones, was born April 14, 1933, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 7:45 A.M., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, church treasurer, worship leader and was a Sunday School teacher for over forty years. Milton was a life-long farmer and was a former member of the Taylor County ASF Office and Taylor County Farm Bureau. He also served on the Taylor County Democratic Executive Committee and the Taylor County School Board for sixteen years. He was also a Gideon for several years. He united in marriage on January 30, 1952. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son and one daughter: three grandchildren: adopted grandson, two brothers: several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul M. and Tammy Jones and one brother and one sister: Vontress Jones and Louise Mings.
