Beverly Sue Hamilton went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the age of 84. The daughter of Robert Charles and Opal Marie (Chambers) Scott, Beverly was born on August 17, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up attending Oklahoma City Schools in the area and later graduated from Central High School in 1954. After going on a blind date with young and handsome man by the name of Albert "Jay" James Hamilton, II, the two became inseparable. She married the love of her life, Jay Hamilton on May 2, 1954 and together shared more than 56 wonderful years of marriage and watching God bless their family before his passing on March 22, 2015. Beverly earned her Associates Degree from Oklahoma City Community College. Beverly was a loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother who made serving God, her family and others the main focus and purpose in her life everyday. A true Proverbs 31 Woman as described in the Bible, Beverly always met the needs and wants of her family and serving and volunteering in many capacities at her beloved Southminster Presbyterian Church where she and her husband were longtime, faithful members, served as Elders and sang in the choir. She supported and worked alongside her husband at their family business Designer Cast Stone for many successful years. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed many hobbies such as music, singing, culinary arts and was a skilled and gifted artist. She was also a member of the International Business Women's Association and 80's Ladies. Known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she left a tremendous legacy for her family to follow.
