Eleanor Burley, 68, of Syracuse , passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Alabama and lived in Syracuse for 50 years. She retired from St. Joseph's Hospital where she worked for 40 years as a nurse. Eleanor was a member of Southern Missionary Baptist Church. Her husband, Arthur Lee Burley died November 16, 2004.
Survivors: her children, Arthur J. (Doris), Ronnie J. (Lonnie), Benny L., Jenny A., Brenda L. (Carl Spar), Todd K. (Corrine Boatwright) Denson Burley; sisters, Ella L. Mitchell, Hattie Brewster and Rosa Kerns; brother, LemRoy and Joe Louis Barrow; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
