Hennepin, IL - Charles E. Hatton, 64, of rural Hennepin, Ill., passed away at 9:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, Ill.

Chuck was born May 6, 1943, in Spring Valley to Charles Lee and Maxine (Uhde) Hatton. He graduated from John Swaney High School in McNabb, class of 1961. He married Jo Ann Zielinski on Nov. 14, 1964, in Hennepin.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Jo Ann in rural Hennepin; his mother, Maxine Uhde of Joliet; one son, Chuck (wife Nicole) Hatton of Hennepin; one daughter, Beth (husband Mike) Sale of Mark; five grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis of Wilmington, Ill., Richard (Jeanie) of Joliet, and Terry of Henry; and two sisters, Mary (Harold) Brown of Seneca, Ill., and Karen Yanish of Henry.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Chuck worked at Poly One at the Henry Plant in the maintenance department.

He coached McNabb Little League, he was the swine superintendent at the M-P Fair and a lifelong member of Ducks Unlimited and the Chester White Swine Association.

Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in McNabb.
