Born in a village called Zawalow / Zavaliv in Ternopil, Ukraine. Hebrew date of death- Tamuz 10, 5687. Grave stone indicates that he was born around 1845.
Through family interviews and by many relatives' accounts, Aaron was not a good man at all. He was abusive to his children and passed on a lot of trauma to his descendants, sort of as a 'family heirloom,' and despite his patriarchal identity, he does not deserve to be remembered in a good way. He did terrible things and should instead be remembered for his bad tendencies, and be despised. His actions were somewhat forgotten by his children and grandchildren, and up until a few months ago, barely any of his descendants knew his actions. I learned of them by a great-granddaughter of Aaron's, who's mother, Aaron's granddaughter, confronted a memory she had suppressed from her memory for seventy years; that Aaron had sexually abused her. When I learned of this, I made sure that the descendants from all branches of Aaron's children knew it. If something such as a person's actions are forgotten, it is as if none of it ever happened in the first place, and Aaron's actions caused generations of trauma, sort of a ripple effect, so this could not be forgotten. He will be remembered, but exclusively for his actions against his own blood relatives.
