Robert Lee Dixon of Riverton left this earth at 10:13 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at St. John's Hospital.

He was born March 15, 1944 in Auburn, the son of Frank and Esther Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger, Charles and Bill; sister, Betty Jane; granddaughter, Elizabeth Miller and beloved dog, Chance.

He married Lorraine Harney and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2016.

Robert worked at the Potato Factory in Springfield, IL. He then worked at St. Francis Motherhouse in the housekeeping and receiving departments.

He loved hunting, fishing, working on puzzles, feeding his birds and squirrels, driving around conservation area in Chatham, watching sports, Western movies, loved going on bus trips and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving by his children, Tammy (Jerry) Miller, Angel (Heath) Lane, Heather (John) Nelson, Michael (Kayla) Miller and Amanda Miller; three grandchildren, Liam, Mia and Maci Miller; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
