Filma Lucille Gray 74 Carthage died at 3:40 a.m. Monday at Freeman Health system East Joplin after a 14 month illness.

Mrs Gray was born August 29th 1921 at Oswego Kansas. She had lived in Carthage since 1953. She was formerly employed by Smith brothers manufacturing company. And worked for 8 years as a clerk with Larson auctioning company, Carl Junction.

She was a member of Fairview Christian church and Joplin post No. 534 auxiliary, veterans of foreign wars.

She was married to J. L. "Leonard" Gray on December 4th 1954 in Carthage he survives.

Additional survivors include 3 sons Andy Gray, Philip "Butch" Barkley and Bud Barkley, 3 daughters Bev Turnage, Maudetta Blase and Barbara Back 16 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Space the body was has been cremated.
