Obituary for Johnnie Lowe
It is with great sadness that the family of Johnnie Mae (Richardson) Lowe announces her passing. Johnnie was surrounded by her adoring family and passed away peacefully on July 19, 2021, in her home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida at the age of 84. Johnnie was born on March 4, 1937, in Columbus, Mississippi to the late John Cleveland and Getha Mae Richardson. She resided in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for the last 46 years.
Johnnie's greatest love was her family. Her passion was spending time with them above all else. She lived a life filled with love and laughter. Johnnie was a woman of deep faith with a humble spirit. She had a host of friends from all walks of life and was adored by many. She was known by all for her sweet smile and southern warmth and charm. Johnnie was a retired administrative assistant but she spent most of her life doing what she loved most, taking care of her family. She enjoyed a good card game, her crosswords, and puzzle books. The game show network could often be heard in the background. The sweet sound of her laughter filled her home as soon as you walked in the door and that is what will be missed the most.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Cynthia "Cindy" Turner of Newfield, New Jersey, Rebecca "Becky" Williams of Port Saint Lucie, Gene Lowe, Jr of Port Saint Lucie, Angela "Angie" Santos (William) of Redding CT; her 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her sister, Geraldine "Geri" Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
