Tammy Jean Hale was born February 14th, 1966, in Bakersfield, California and passed away unexpectedly July 1st, 2021, in Bakersfield.

She grew up in Bakersfield and attended local schools, Rosedale Elementary, Beardsley Junior High, and graduated from North High School in 1984. A rather private, somewhat shy and reserved person, she always had the good sense to listen and observe first and speak second. She enjoyed NASCAR and shared that enthusiasm with her good friend, Molly Mier, and was a big fan of fellow North High grad and NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick. She was also a big contributor to R.A.D. Rescuing Abandoned Dogs Public Group. She loved helping her best friend Gina in feeding, fostering, and finding them forever homes. But her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her son Jess.

Tammy was predeceased by her mother Bessie Bartlett, grandfather and grandmother Leonard and Glenna Gahagan.

She is survived by her husband Jerry and son Jess, niece Heather Hoge and great-nephew Hoban Hoge, sister Teresa Bizzell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a dog rescue organization of your choice, or to Tammy's favorite, R.A.D. https://www.facebook.com/groups/329707324863885/.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hodel's in the Sunroom on July 31, at 2:00pm.
