Linda Ann Lockard, 74 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Kansas City.

Linda was born January 18, 1947 in Champaign, IL the daughter of Robert O. and Barbara M. (Zoller) Brockman. She graduated from high school in Chicopee Falls, MA and attended CMSU in Warrensburg. She was united in marriage to Lewis Lawson Lockard on May 28, 1966 at Whiteman Air Force Base. In 1977, the couple moved near Centerview. They have resided in Warrensburg since 1990. Linda worked at Unitog for several years. Upon it's closure in 1999, she went to work in Human Resources at UCM. She was an avid bingo player. She loved playing games and cards with family members. Linda was a huge Chiefs and Royals fan. She was a member of First Christian Church in Warrensburg.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Lewis; daughter: Kimberli Tester (Paul) of Mansfield, TX; two sons: Kristopher Lockard (Jill) of Lee's Summit, MO and Keith "Scott" Lockard (Lisa) of Boise, ID; six grandchildren: Luke Lockard (Macy) of Ft. Hood, TX; Austin Dunn (Fiancee: Logan) of Arlington, TX; Laura Lockard of Boise, ID; Chase Dunn of Mansfield, TX; Kaleb Lockard of Lee's Summit, MO and Evelyn Lockard of Lee's Summit, MO; two sisters: Kandy Edwards (John) of Warrensburg, MO and Virginia Bruch of Warrensburg, MO; sister-in-law: Kathryn Embree of Oak Grove, MO; brother-in-law: Daric Elwell of Warrensburg; six nieces and nephews and two great nephews and her beloved Shih Tzu, Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Bobbie Elwell; brother-in-law: William Embree; father & mother-in-law: Lawson and Laura Lockard.

There will be a private celebration of life service held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Higginsville with Pastor Jerry Bayse officiating. Entombment will follow.

Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Old Drum Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
