NORTH SALT LAKE - Moneita "Mo" McCoard Aaron, returned to our Father in Heaven on Saturday, March 15, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 19, 1936 in Tamarack, Idaho, a daughter of Bert and Chloe Mills McCoard. She grew up in Joseph,
Utah and graduated from South Sevier High School in 1954. She received her LPN from Utah Technology.

Mo married Titus Edwin Aaron on November 15, 1955 in Layton. They had four children. Titus preceded her in death in 1979.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mo spent her life in the service of others. She retired from the V.A. Hospital in Salt Lake City in 1996.

She loved to crochet and tend to her garden.

The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Clearfield Care Center and Hospice for the care they gave her the past four months of her life.

"We will love and miss her dearly".

Surviving are her children, Titus Aaron Jr., New Mexico; Butch Aaron, David (Jean) Aaron, and Melody (Patrick Jr.) Hurley, all of Ogden; 16 grandchildren and eight and a half great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Mo is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Robert (Lorenna) McCoard, Redford, UT; Colleen (Bruce) Smith, Hurricane, UT, currently serving an LDS Mission in Germany; J.C. (Linda) McCoard, CA; and her brother-in-law, Howard Witticur, Circleville, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Norma Dean.

A celebration of her life will be held in the Mountains of Joseph, Utah on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 3 p.m. Cremation under the direction of Lindquist's Crematory.

Funeral directors, Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
