Kevin Michael Graham, 43, of Pekin, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his residence.
Born February 4, 1978 in Pekin, he was the son of Robert and Cathy Marie (Wisdom) Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harley F. and Eleanora M. (Viviano) Wisdom, and grandparents, Lloyd and Maxine Graham.
He is survived by his uncle, Michael (Debra) Wisdom of Peoria; first cousin, Andrew Wisdom of Peoria; cousins, Kay (Jerry) Paul and Jan (Brad) Simpkins, both of Pekin, and their children and grandchildren.
Kevin graduated from Pekin Community High School, where he was a member of the Pekin Notables Show Choir and National Honor Society. He was proud alumni of Bradley University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources. While at Bradley, he became a member of Phi Kappa Phi honorary society, was inducted into the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma, and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
During his career, Kevin worked as a credit underwriter for Bank One, benefits representative and office assistant for Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, and human resources coordinator and customer service attendant for Menards. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin.
Throughout his life, Kevin was devoted to his grandmother, Eleanora Wisdom, who passed away on December 5, 2020. They were absolutely best friends, and it was from her that Kevin inherited his passion for talking with people. Those who knew Kevin recognized that he had a warm heart and gregarious personality, and that he was especially considerate and empathetic to the elderly.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
