Emma Marie Roberts George, 94, of Spartanburg, SC went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born May 14, 1927, in Polk County, NC, daughter of the late Stevenson Collas Roberts and Ida Ford Roberts; wife of the late George Glover George, Sr.

Worked at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in the Salad Room and then volunteered for 30 years, and was a member of Vineyard Church of God.

Survivors include her children, Nina George Strange (Bobby), George Glover George Jr., Jackie George Littlefield, and Susan George Sullivan (Perry); beloved grandchildren, Angie Smith (Robbie), Scott Strange (Rhonda), Jason Littlefield (Sierra), George Glover George III (Kelly), Lee Emma George (Josh) and Heather Earls (Will); ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her son, Clay Collas George; son-in-law, Charles Littlefield; brothers, Theodore "Bud" Roberts (1936–1996), J. C. Roberts, and Boyce William Roberts (1921–1978); and sister, Vestie Roberts.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 3:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by The Rev. Paul Allison and The Rev. Roger Allison. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
