Graveside services were held Saturday, January 22, at 1 p.m., in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery, for Estin Allen, 88, with Rev. Gina Sheridan, pastor of the Roseville and Swan Creek United Methodist churches officiating.

Mr. Allen passed away Thursday, January 20, 2000, at 12:25 a.m. in Avon Nursing Home. Memorials may be made to the nursing home. Corman Memorial Home, Roseville, was in charge of arrangements.

A son of Charles and Charlotte Muntz Allen, he was born July 1, 1911, in Mt. Sterling, IA. He married Eva M.Goudie, who survives.

He also leaves: two daughters-in-law, Ramona Allen and Mildred Allen, both of Roseville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

His parents, two sons, two brothers and a granddaughter preceded him in death.

Mr. Allen and his wife have been Roseville area residents since 1935, where they farmed. He was also engaged in carpentry.
