Mrs. Amalia Dann, age 105 years, formerly of 1527A N. 12th St., one of Sheboygan County's oldest residents, died Friday, June 21, 1991 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past five years. She also had been a resident of Meadow View Manor Nursing Home the previous seven years.
The former Amalia Huber was born June 7, 1886 in Eckard, Russia, and married Alexander Dann on Oct. 20, 1909 in Zurich, Russia. The couple emigrated to Sheboygan in 1913. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1954.
Amalia was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Olga Henning of Sheboygan; her son, Richard of McLean, Va.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son and daughter, two brothers and a sister.
The funeral service for Amalia Dunn will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, 1991, at Llppert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. Edwin C. Bek, pastor of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, on Monday, from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
