Marvin was born on December 21, 1943 in Algona, Iowa, to Adam and Hildegard (Vorderbrueggen) Wolf. He graduated from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Nebraska.
He is survived by; his son Jim Wolf and wife Trish of Coweta, Oklahoma. Grandson Johnathon Wolf and wife Jessica, along with great granddaughters Olivia and Adilene Wolf and Sarah Moss of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brother Carroll Wolf of Roanoke, Texas. Brother Gerald Wolf and wife Nancy of Lincoln, Nebraska.
He is preceded in death by his parents Adam and Hilda Wolf.
Services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10:00 am, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 3880 L Street.
Interment will be held November 2, 2021, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum with Father Lyle Johnson presiding.
Marvin worked for a packing house, to where he did vow, and honored that vow to never eat chicken or hot dogs. Brothers Carroll and Gerry do not like chicken either. He worked at the US Postal Service. He began driving a truck and started a trucking business of Mystic Wolf Trucking in Thornton, Colorado for a number of years. He then began Grey Wolf Trucking in Hampton, Nebraska.
Marvin was gifted in generosity and loved to talk. He never met a stranger. Talking took much of his time to which often made him late, but everyone knew they were on '"Marv's time''.
His greatest joy in life was talking to strangers and helping others financially when needed. He will be missed by many.
The Lord has blessed us with a truck driver, which we have all come to love.
God's hand was always watching him and sometimes even driving from above.
He travels freely now over heavens rolling hills to its shining sea.
He was a special man God made just for you and me.
As heaven and earth now divide us, the special memories of you bring us near.
The common things of life we shared, laughter and sometimes a heartfelt tear.
So, father in heaven hear my prayer when I think of our beloved one each day.
Please protect our father, brother, and friend, while he's many, many miles away.
