GAMBER -- On February 25, 1953, MARTIN J. SR., (formerly of 3024 Woodland Avenue), husband of the late Laura Slade Gamber, and father of Rev. Martin J. Gamber, Glen E. Gamber, Mrs. Philip T. Rossbach Jr., Francis D. Gamber and Mrs. Donald R. Mitchell.

Funeral from the funeral home of C. Vernon Lemmon. Solemn Requiem Mass in St. Ambrose Church. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery.

Funeral services for MARTIN J. GAMBER SR., an active member of the Knights of Columbus and employe of the Gas and Electrick Company for 33 years, will be held tomorrow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Mr. Gamber, 65, died Wedesday at Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born and educated in Carroll County, he came here as a young man and made his home for many years at 3024 Woodland Avenue.

He is survived by three sons, the Rev. Martin J. Gamber, chaplain of the College of Notre Dame; Glen E. and Francis D. Gamber, and by two daughters, Mrs. Philip T. Rossbach Jr. and Mrs. Donald R. Mitchell. All are residents of Baltimore except Glen, who lives with his family in the Philippine Islands.

Father Gamber will offer the solemn requiem mass at St. Ambrose, with burial in Cathedral Cemetery.
