A daughter of Thomas B. and Roletta (Osborne) Patterson, Mrs. Prindle was born August 6, 1890, at Martinsville, Missouri. She had lived in Quincy since 1910, and had recently assisted a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Grotz, and Reva Zimmerman, in the operation of the Check Inn at Eighth and Kentucky [streets, Quincy Illinois.]
She was a member of Union Methodist church. Surviving are: two daughters: Mrs. Grotz, and Sister Mary Seraphim, of Aurora; a son, Paul Norman Prindle, of Savannah; a sister, Mrs. Parker Laws, of Moline; and three grandchildren: David B. Prindle of Quincy, and Paul H. and Mark T. Prindle, both of Savannah.
A son, Roy Eugene, died in infancy.

The Reverend Lewis Rogers officiated at graveside services for Mrs. Lulu B. Prindle, Saturday, in Masonic cemetery in Gilman City, Missouri.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lulu B. Prindle were held Saturday morning at 9:30 in Zehender funeral home [Quincy Illinois], in charge of the Reverend Stanley K. Jensen, with graveside rites Saturday afternoon at 3, in Masonic cemetery in Gilman City, Missouri.
Mrs. Thomas Rogers sang, with Mrs. Alvoid Colpitts at the organ, during the services here.
Pall bearers here were: Samuel Mills, Harold Lawks, Roy Rottman, Roy Johnson, J. F. VanDenBoom, and W. B. Bentrop.
Pall bearers at Gilman city were: Lawrence Gwinn, Precey Miller, Dodd Strickler, Ivan Ray, Charles Lowe, and W. B. Bentrop.

Additional: Lulu Patterson and Preston Green Prindle married in 1910 in Gilman City, Missouri. Their divorce decree was signed by Judge Fred G. Wolfe in Adams county Illinois circuit court, on 2 December 1940.
