Sandra White Patrick, 77, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Born August 22, 1943 to the late Archie Milton White Sr., and Evelyn Moore White, Sandra was a lifelong Poquoson resident.
She was a faithful member of Emmaus Baptist Church and was actively involved in the choir, Sunday School, and founded the "Bodies N Motion" Class. For many years, Sandra was involved in sports including women's softball, volleyball and bowling. She also served as an elected official. She was also a member of the Charles Parish Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Sandra retired from NASA to become a stay-at-home mom. Before long, she returned to NASA in 1984, retiring again later to then care for her mom.

Sandra is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of 54 years, William Sidney Patrick, Jr.; son, Jeffrey Scott Patrick; and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa Patrick Millis and her husband, Robert of Lanexa, Shawn Donahue Patrick and his wife, Katie of Poquoson; grandchildren, Brendan Millis, William Patrick, Hunter Patrick, Aaron Whitehead and his wife, Tessa, Alexandra Whitehead, Allyson Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Blair Whitehead and Bishop Whitehead; brothers, Archie Milton White, Jr. and his wife, Patty of Poquoson, and Ronald Lee White of Poquoson; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 PM at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Emmaus Baptist Church in Poquoson, officiated by Pastor Scott Wade. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Heather Trombley with Riverside Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to Poquoson Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 2099, Poquoson, VA, 23662 and Emmaus Baptist Church Building Fund, 814 Yorktown Road, Poquoson, VA 23662.
