Ole Irvin Hoskinson was born April 8, 1885 in Vinland, Kansas to Joseph Dudley and Sarah Ellen (Anderson) Hoskinson. He was the third born of 8 children. He married Ethel Ester Kretsinger on April 2, 1905 in Douglas County, Kansas. They moved to Western Kansas in Haskell County. They had four children, Ruth, Erma, Warren and Betty Jo. They eventually moved to Riverside, California. After Ethel's death, about 1939, Ole married Effie P Swank, she died a year later. Ole married Eliza G (ALLEN) Olney February 4, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two children, Ole Jr and Sarah. He was a wheat farmer and orchardist. He died December 21, 1947 of Valvular Heart Disease developed when he had rheumatic fever as a child.
