Eric C. Carlson, age 52, of Fairless Hills died on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Jefferson Neurological Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Bristol, Mr. Carlson was a resident of Levittown for most of his life before moving to Fairless Hills 20 years ago. He was employed as a sales agent with Gleason and Piper Allstate Insurance Agency in Yardley. Mr. Carlson was a member of Morrisville United Methodist Church. He volunteered as a wrestling coach in the Pennsbury School community for 28 years and also coached softball for the Fairless Hills, Middletown and Bristol Athletic Associations. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also thoroughly enjoyed watching his daughters play softball and participate in cheerleading. Mostly, Mr. Carlson enjoyed spending his free time surrounded by his friends and family who he loved dearly.
He was the son of the late Henry O. and Regina (Orlowski) Carlson.
Mr. Carlson is the beloved husband of nearly 30 years to Cynthia M. (Ghrist) Carlson and is the loving father of Lindsey and Ashley Carlson.
He will also be sadly missed by three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; his aunt Lucy McClellan of Woodlyn, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Monday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
