John L. Berry III, 40, passed away at the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, passing this earthly home and entering into his eternal home with his Lord and Savior.

He was born on August 8, 1980 to Carol Ann Pettus-Berry and the late John L. Berry Jr., from South Bend, Indiana.

John received his former education in the 1990's in South Bend school district and worked for Pratt and Whitney until his illness overcame him.

John leaves to celebrate his life, four daughters, Ca'Sarah Berry, KaitLyn Berry-Goggins, JaLayah Newsome and Mia Ann Berry, one son, Smarion Powell, one granddaughter, Ne'Vaeh Telfered, his mother, Carol Ann Pettus-Berry, one sister Karastaine (Kitty) Berry, three brothers, Bernard Berry, Darrell Berry and Larrell Berry as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, John L. Berry Jr., grandparents, Ronald L. Pettus, Sarah A Watford-Smith, John L. Berry Sr. and Delores O. DePriest-Berry.

John's family will celebrate his life at Gospel Fellowship Church, 1635 N. 7th Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17102, July 24, 2021, 1:00 P.M., Bishop William Dallas III presiding.
