NELSON ADAMS

Nelson Adams, Jr., a Mobilian who became an educator in Miami, died Saturday (October 5, 1985).


Adams, a resident of Miami for more than 25 years, was principal at that city's Dunbar High School, and worked at other schools there.


Survivors include his wife, Naomi Allen Adams of Miami; one son, Dr. Nelson L. Adams III of Miami; one daughter, Scevia Hollins of Tuskegee; and three sisters, Irene Kidd, Essie Campbell and Ladresta Scott, all of Mobile.


The body will lie in state Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Yorktown Baptist Church in Plateau. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Plateau Cemetery, with the Rev. C.L. Daniels officiating.


Arrangements are with Hodge's Funeral Chapel
