Mr. Jennings was born in Wilkes County, June 14, 1942, to Druie S. and O'Leava Myers Jennings. He retired from Bumgarner Services as a truck driver. He was a partner with Myers-Jennings Construction. Mr. Jennings attended Bethel Baptist Church. He was a deacon and a member of Haymeadow Baptist Church for many years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by a sister, Lala Absher Ross and a brother, Pressley S. Jennings.
Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife of 46 years, two sons and three granddaughters.
