Rosary for Martin R. Juarez, 59, of Lubbock will be today, 7 p.m., at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Burial will be at Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Martin died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007.

He was born on Dec. 23, 1947 to the late Pedro (1995) Juarez and Florentina Juarez in Robstown, Texas. He was a retired assistant manager at Furr's Cafeteria and a life-long resident of Lubbock. He was a cpl in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Vietnam war; he served from March 1968 till December of 1969. He was a member of the Lubbock VFW, and the Veterans center. He was a Catholic.

He is preceded in death by a sister, San Juanna Juarez in 1966.

Survivors include four sons, Arnaldo, Enrico, and Francisco Flores all of Lubbock and Damian Juarez of Idalou; two daughters, Cecelia Zeferina Richardson Juarez and Sierra Richarson both of Lubbock; his mother, Florentina Loera of Royce City, Texas; three brothers, Edwardo Loera Jr. of Ohio, Pete and Lupe Juarez both of Seymour; two sisters, Gloria Smith of Royce City, Texas and Dee Dee Juarez of Seymour; and one grandchild.
