Richard "Rich" Leo Lynch II, died on July 6, 2021, at the West Shore Hospital at the age of 73.

Rich was born in Fort Carson located in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 27, 1948.

He grew up in a military family and was raised around the world including in Okinawa and Osaka, Japan as well as Hopewell, Virginia.

Rich moved to Harrisburg in his teens and graduated from John Harris High School.

He went on to work for the family business, Keystone Addressing Service, then later worked for Speed Mail, Pitney Bowes, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Earlier in life he enjoyed hunting and camping with his family.

After marrying his beloved wife, Beverly, they moved to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. As they raised their family, Rich was the coach, and for two years president, of the Cumberland Valley Girls Softball Association.

Later in life he enjoyed bowling with the Rise and Shine Senior Bowling League, traveling to Ocean City, Maryland, Florida, Hawaii, and numerous national parks. Rich also loved to go on cruises to Ireland, Greek Isles, France, Italy, and the Caribbean. Richard was also an avid dog lover. He was known for his generosity with friends and strangers alike.

Rich is preceded by his parents Richard Leo Lynch Sr. and Grace M. (nee Lang) Lynch.

Richard is survived by his wife Beverly (Morgan) Lynch of 51 years, daughters Brenda (Tom) Gacki and Marsha Lynch, grandchildren Grace and Zachary Gacki, cousin Debra (Charles) George, sister-in-law Cynthia (Morgan) Harris, nephews Morgan Harris and Matthew Harris, among other beloved relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg from 12:00 Noon till 12:45 P.M. the memorial service will follow immediately at 12:45 P.M. with Reverend Eugene Liddick officiating.
