Funeral services for Samuel Headley will be held in the Briscoe Run Baptist church, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Ofa Bennett, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Neale cemetery.
Mr. Headley, 70, died at the home of his son, Jesse Headley, in Central, Tuesday morning. He was born in Pennsylvania [sic], but had been a resident of this vicinity since he was ten years old. Mr. Headley was a member of Wesley Methodist Episcopal church, South, and was a painter by trade.
Surviving are his wife, Eva; three sons, Jesse, at whose home he died; Ben, South Parkersburg; J. W. Headley, Williamstown; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Starr, this city, and ten grandchildren.
