OPELOUSAS - A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Ronald G. Nezat, age 73 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the Service.
Mr. Ronald, a lifelong resident of Opelousas, died on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at his residence in Sunset. Ronald served our Nation in the U.S. Air Force and after service he entered the work force in the Air Conditioning sales and repair business until his retirement. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his pets and garden. He is going to be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Nezat of Opelousas; sons; Steven Nezat and wife Amy of Sunset, Matthew Nezat of Lafayette, Brad Nezat and wife Sherri of Baton Rouge; daughters, Cyndi N. Vidrine and husband Tony of Opelousas, Laura Nezat of Opelousas; brother Kevin Nezat of Ville Platte; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Ronald was preceded in death by her parents, Miburn and Ruby Soileau Nezat and step-mother, Lilly Nezat.
