Ida Z. McCollum
Graveside services for Ida Z. McCollum, 95, of Murfreesboro, who died Monday, Feb. 28, at Boulevard Terrace Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Elliott will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late Joe Frank and Carolyn Davis Herrod and the widow of Hubert L. McCollum.
She is survive(d) by sons Jack McCollum and H.L. "Sonny" McCollum, both of Murfreesboro; sisters Elizabeth Herrod, Sara Norris and Virginia Rion, all of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and attended Bethel Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers.
