Virginia Herrod Rion
Virginia Herrod Rion, 83, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
A memorial service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with the Rev. Joe Elliot officiating.
A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Rion was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Carolyn Louise Davis Herrod. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Clark Rion Sr.
Survivors include son Edwin Clark Rion Jr. of Murfreesboro; daughters Betty Fanelli and Georgia Ann (Tommy) Lynch, both of Murfreesboro; sisters Sara Norris and Elizabeth Herrod, both of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren Trevor Hughes Lynch, Thomas Clark Lynch and Tracy Elizabeth Sharpie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Building Fund, Sulphur Springs Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37219.
