Samuel Anthony "Sammy" Bowman, 60, of Louisville passed away May 24, 2014. He was born January 6, 1954 to the late Samuel Anthony Sr. & Dorothy Moppin Bowman. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Bowman; children, Sherry Bowman Brady (James), Samuel Bowman III, Jeremiah Wayne Bowman, Kimberly Mae Bowman Walkins (Brian) and Joshua Nathanial Bowman; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. Celebration of Samuel's life will be conducted Friday, May 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
