H. "Briggs" Clark IV, a resident of Seabrook, NH, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home, on Monday, June 21, 2021 at age 65.
Briggs was born on December 9, 1955 in Melrose, one of three children of the late Henry B. Clark III and Susan (Allen) "Dixie" Clark. He was raised in Melrose where he graduated from Melrose High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps before receiving an honorable discharge.
For many years, Briggs worked in construction as a carpenter specializing in house framing. He later worked in sales for Doyle Lumber. Briggs was a carefree, sarcastic, and charming guy. He liked to have fun, ride motorcycles, and never missed an opportunity to have a laugh. He often talked of traveling, enjoyed coin collecting, marksmanship, watching football, and occasionally fishing.
Briggs was the loving father of Devra J. Najera and her husband Matt of Dana Point, CA, Jonathan B. Clark and his wife Nikki of Seabrook, NH, and the late Lyndsey Joy Clark. Loving grandfather of Gavin, Greyson, Jaeliana, Michael, Jaaliyah, and Braelyn. Brother of Michael A. Clark of Melrose, and Debra S. Harter and her husband Brad of Lima, OH. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
