Canton, IL - Helen L. Tanquary, 90, of 199 El Paso, Carol Stream, formerly of Canton, died Saturday, July 15, 1995, at Wheaton Care Center in Wheaton.
Born Feb. 2, 1905, in Granville to James G. and Josephine M. Koenen Baxter, she married Robert D. Tanquary on Sept. 21, 1935, in Canton. He died Dec. 19, 1985.
One sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Richard A. of Carol Stream; two brothers, Robert Baxter and Adam Baxter, both of Canton; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Josephine) Gibson of Canton; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Canton.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
