William Watters Waite Jr, 73, of Angleton, went to be with our Lord on Friday, June 25, 2021. A public visitation will be held on Friday, July 2 starting at 11:30am and service will follow starting at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute.
William (Bill) had many accomplishments in his life. In his youth he played baseball, bowled in leagues, rode horses and bulls. He later became an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a loving son, brother, husband, dad, papaw and friend. He started working in HVAC while attending college to become an engineer. Enjoyed the profession so much he remained working in the HVAC. He was a Sears Service Manager until he decided to start his own HVAC company, Bastrop Mechanical Service, Inc., in Angleton where he provided service to his loyal customers for over 41 years.
Bill was born to William and Naomi Waite in Houston, Texas on March 24, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Madge Kneisler. Bill is survived by his wife Melissa (Lisa) Waite, son William (Bill) Waite III and wife Janet, and son Travis Waite and wife Kelly, grandchildren are Jessica Osburn and husband John, Steven Waite, Katie Cuellar, Travis Waite Jr and wife Amy, Taylor Waite, Megan Waite, Emily Waite, Laynee Shelton, Cody Shelton, Levi Shelton, great grandchildren are Brayden McGinn, Holden Cahanin, Teagan Osburn, Kali Miller, Barrett Waite and Braiden Waite.
Pallbearers will be Steven Waite, Alvin Kneisler, John Osburn, Gary Billingsley, Ernest Harwell, and Billy Cook.
