❦ As children, David and Joseph were inseparable. For the first couple of years, they had their own language that only they could understand. As they grew older, they developed friendships with many of the same people in school and played on mostly the same basketball and football teams. Once he reached high school football, Joseph played the running back position, and David, the receiver position. Their first coach, Bill Jones, was a great mentor and friend that taught them many important rules for football and for life. Those were the high school years David cherished the most.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Following high school, David worked for several years before starting to study at Utah Valley University. Later, he studied at Southern Utah University while living with his brother, Joseph and sister-in-law, Carina.
❦ David later moved to Provo to live with his grandmother, Agnes Garrard. They spent many hours together watching the Utah Jazz play and watching Ghost Hunters for fun. David loved to visit his Thai grandparents and eat their Thai food, especially the spicy.
❦ David worked at many jobs including roofing around Utah Valley and a cook's assistant at a Japanese restaurant in Provo. In every working experience, he made new friends had new opportunities to talk about music, politics, and his family.
