Randy Gene Miller, 58, of Mason City, Iowa passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Randy Gene Miller was born on February 27, 1963 in Sweet Springs, Missouri to parents Dean and Norma (Ogaard). He lived in Missouri until he was two years old, and in 1965, he moved to Mason City.
In his early life, Randy enjoyed playing trumpet in band, and he taught Sunday School. Randy graduated from Mason City High School in 1981.
After high school, Randy worked at Spirit Unicess at several years, until he started his own business, Miller Tree and Landscape.
Randy was united into marriage to Jennifer Russell on December 14, 2020 in Mason City, Iowa.
Randy is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Zach Miller (Tatum Collins), Ethan Miller, Taylor (Ty) Hedegard, and Olivia Sorenson; grandson, Milo; siblings, Jerry Miller, Danny (Jessica) Miller, Deana (Chad) Hanson, and Dawn (Paul) Martin; Randy's best friends, Scott and Tina Mahon; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Norma Miller.
A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Mason City, Iowa.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
