Gracie A. Taylor, 101, formerly of Rt. 3, Van Wert, died Monday, April 22 in Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on November 4, 1889, in Union Township, a daughter of Jacob F. and Tabitha (Bradshaw) Miller. On September 26, 1905, she married Rollo O. Taylor and he died in 1942.
Survivors include three sons, Vondale of Kathy St., Van Wert; Virgil of Paulding; and Ray of Washington St., Van Wert; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Tyas, and Mrs. Mabel Lee, both of Van Wert, Mrs. Wilbur (Lois) Williamson and Mrs. Fred (Betty) Routt, both of Rt. 3, Van Wert and Mrs. Carl (Lillian) Saam of Rt. 5, Van Wert; 30 grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, 50 great-great-granchildren and 10 step great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by six sons, four brothers, and three sisters, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ben Lyttle officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
