Henry DeGrush, forty-eight, of Diamond Point, died Friday morning, in the Glens Falls hospital, where he had been a patient for nearly three weeks. He is survived by his wife, six daughters; Mrs. John Parker of Warrensburg, Mrs. Harry McCoy of Gloversville, Miss Mary DeGrush of Schenectady, Misses Emily, Frances and Dorothy DeGrush of Diamond Point; four sons, Frederick, Charles, James and Everett DeGrush of Diamond Point; two sisters, Mrs. Lester LaPlanche of Lake George, and Mrs. Clarence Grant of Glens Falls; also
two brothers, Charles and Harry DeGrush of North Caldwell. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Woodward funeral parlors in Warrensburg. The Rev. Mrs. May L Haight, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial in the North Caldwell cemetery.
Husband of Nellie Inez Hough who is also buried in the family plot. His parents were James Frederick DeGrush and Margaret A Henry who are both buried in the plot. He was known as Hank and was a stone mason, lumberjack, farmer and carpenter. Brother of Charles Henry and Henry Edward who are buried in the plot as well as Father of James Henry who died as a young child and is also in this plot. His daughter Mary Louise DeGrush Bourlon is also buried in this plot.
