She was the daughter of Charles Frederick Abney-Hastings, 1st Baron Donington and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings, 10th Countess of Loudoun. She married Henry Fitzalan-Howard, 15th Duke of Norfolk, son of Henry Granville Fitzalan-Howard, 14th Duke of Norfolk and Hon. Augusta Mary Mina Catherine Lyons, on 21 November 1877. She died on 11 April 1887 at age 33.
Her married name became Fitzalan-Howard.
The couple had one child:
Philip Joseph Mary Fitzalan-Howard, Earl of Arundel and Surrey b. 7 Sep 1879, d. 8 Jul 1902
