Daisy Pearl Hill, 81, of Pana passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, in Heritage Health—Pana. She was born May 14, 1940 in Sullivan, IL to the late Henry & Bessie (Dunn) Harl. Daisy married Jerry Lee Kidwell and he preceded her on January 2, 1968. She later married Ronnie E. Hill on October 3, 1984 and he preceded her in death on February 4, 2007.
Daisy worked as a homemaker and was a member of Pana First Church of the Nazarene. She was active in the Pana Senior Center and was also a part of the Activity Department at Parkway Apartments in Pana. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and singing. Later she enjoyed playing bingo and always loved attending social events where she could visit with family and friends.
Daisy is survived by her daughter: Brenda Harl; grandchildren: Zachary Harl and Alicia Butler; great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and special friends, Joann Largent & family, Peggy Christer, and Scott Sims & family. She was preceded by her parents; both husband; and siblings: Katherine Deckard, Alberta Ray, Gladys Courtright, Gene Denton, James "Hop" Harl, and Phillip Joseph Harl.
Graveside services for Daisy will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in Price Cemetery, rural Oconee at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Lila Chaplin officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
