Allena Mae Insko, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Pioneer Trace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky, on May 23, 1938, to the late Elmer and Louise Collins. Mae and Eugene brought happiness to many children without homes. They would bring them into their home to feed them, care for them, teach them how to work a farm and have a comfy pillow for them to lay their head on at night. This also brought them many moments of happiness.

Besides her parents, Mae was preceded in death by: four brothers, Frank Collins, Gene Collins, Raymond Collins and Johnny Collins; three sisters, Shirley Mastin, Gladys Marie White and Rosie Smith; one great-grandchild, Trina Insko; and the father of her children, Eugene "Ram Rod" Insko. She is survived by: three sons, Roy (Martha) Insko, Randy Insko and Ronald (Jeanie) Insko; a daughter, Rita Insko; and four grandchildren, Joshua Bess, Aaron Insko, Taylor Insko and Jeana Insko.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at Robertson County Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
