"Maynard Ladd, Newton Square, Pa.; Harvard Medical School, Boston, 1898; member of the Massachusetts Medical Society; past president of the American Pediatric Society and the New England Pediatric Society; assistant in physical chemistry 1900 to 1902, assistant in diseases of children from 1900 to 1903, assistant in pediatrics from 1903 to 1906, instructor in pediatrics from 1906 to 1922 and associate in pediatrics from 1922 to 1938 at his alma matter; was deputy commissioner of the children's bureau of the American Red Cross in France and directed hospitals there during World War I; in 1934 was made an Officier d'Académie, France; consulting physician to the Children's Hospital; medical director of the preventive clinic, Boston Dispensary; aged 69; died March 9 in Media of cardiorenal disease."

Lillian was born 5/2/1865 in Salem MA and she had a daughter Elizabeth Church born abt 1906 in Mexico and a son Oliver Alden Church born in Carlsbad, Eddy, NM on 11 Nov 1893 (died 9 Feb 1984 in Florida). Oliver applied for Sons of the American Revolution as a descendant of Dudley Ladd (7/8/1758 - 12/23/1841) and general Samuel Greenleaf Ladd (4/14/1784 - 4/1863).

Lillian married Harry Shaw Church on 10 Feb 1886 in Boston, MA. Harry Shaw Church was born on 5/9/1856 in San Francisco CA and died on 5/13/1924.
