Thomas Merton "Tom" Lamb, 77, of Somonauk, Illinois passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at his home. He was born July 19, 1943 in Spring Valley, WI the son of Merton and Vera "Louise" (Beck) Lamb. He married Kathleen Ovren on August 15, 1964 in Elk Mound, WI, he then later married Sharon G. Kellogg on February 18, 1977 in Yorkville, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He worked for Dairyland Insurance for the majority of his career, retiring in 1998 as President of Dairyland Insurance in Stevens Point, WI. Tom was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. He was an avid woodworker and built many pieces of furniture for family and friends. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his children; Jim (Beth) Garbelman of Wedron, IL, Tom (Michele) Lamb of Leland, IL, Jeff (Mary) Garbelman of Yorkville, IL, Scott (Erica) Lamb of Oswego, IL, Gina (Jeff) Conner of Yorkville, IL, and Jon Lamb of Columbia, MO; thirteen grandchildren, Jeremy, Katy, Brynn, Emily (Justin), Wyatt, Ben, Olivia, Claire, Ryan, Owen, Tyler, Chance, and Nora; one great grandchild, Gracelynn; three brothers, Charles (Barbara) Lamb of Spring Valley, WI, Douglas (Sherry) Lamb of Hudson, WI, and William Lamb of Menomonie, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his two wives Kathleen and Sharon; one sister Judy in infancy.

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Private Burial will be held at a later date with his cremains to be shared with his two wives in IL and WI. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 until the service at 7:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
